An after-school event, using real suturing thread and equipment to practice assorted kinds of stitches and knots.
2019 AMSUS CONFERENCE
A conference at the Gaylord Convention Center in Baltimore for health-related professions. Opportunities here included attending talks from researchers, connecting with professionals in fields of member's interests, and meeting HOSA members from around the country. Students were able to learn to use a Da Vinci machine through surgical simulations, practice tourniquets with the Stop the Bleed campaign, and ask questions to a panel of speakers including US Surgeon Generals

Opportunities here included attending talks from researchers, connecting with professionals in fields of member's interests, and meeting HOSA members from around the country.
CPR DEMONSTRATION
A lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice of how to properly perform CPR on adults, devices to use when performing CPR, and how to use a defibrillator.
INTERNATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
General sessions, branch training, exhibits, and international competitions in the cumulative HOSA event. The 2019 conference took place in Orlando, Florida, and included a day in the city's several amusement parks.
